Who We Are

Umucyo w’Isabato — translated “Sabbath Light” — is a faith-driven, mission-centered Adventist ministry devoted to spreading the everlasting gospel and restoring the beauty of God’s Sabbath truth in harmony with the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14:6–12.

We exist for one purpose:
To lead souls to Christ, reveal the truth of the Bible Sabbath, and prepare the world for Jesus’ soon return.

Through digital evangelism, literature outreach, community missions, youth engagement, and educational content, we bring the light of truth to homes, villages, and online communities across Africa and beyond.

Our Story — How Umucyo w’Isabato Began

Every revival begins with a burden.
Umucyo w’Isabato was born out of a deep spiritual concern — a burden to restore awareness of the Bible Sabbath, to counter rising confusion about truth and law, and to respond to global movements toward Sunday observance and religious compromise.

In the heart of Africa, where the Sabbath message is still scarcely known in many regions of Burundi, two dedicated Adventist believers — Eric Habyarimana and Eliezer Ndanyuzwe — united with one conviction:

“Light must shine before darkness grows stronger.”

What started as a small idea soon became a movement:
Publishing Sabbath-centered materials, producing sermons and teachings, reaching people through media, and engaging in personal and public outreach.

Today, Umucyo w’Isabato continues to grow by the grace of God — guided by Scripture, inspired by prophecy, and committed to the mission of Christ.

Our Core Beliefs

Built on firm biblical foundations, Umucyo w’Isabato stands fully aligned with Seventh-day Adventist teachings, upholding:

The Bible as the inspired Word of God
Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ
Obedience to all Ten Commandments, including the seventh-day Sabbath
The imminent Second Coming of Christ
The Three Angels’ Messages as Heaven’s final appeal
The state of the dead as unconscious rest
The heavenly sanctuary and Christ’s priestly ministry
The call to live a life of holiness, service, and surrender

Our Ministry Pillars

Our mission is built upon four strong pillars that guide all we do — following the method of Christ: “He mingled with men as one who desired their good.” (Ellen G. White, Ministry of Healing, p. 143.)

1. Digital Evangelism (Media & Online Ministry)

In today’s digital age, the gospel must be preached “to every nation, tribe, and people” — both on the ground and online.
We produce:

YouTube sermons and Bible studies
Prophecy documentaries and Sabbath-focused content
Youth-oriented spiritual videos and podcasts

Through technology, we are reaching hearts across Africa, Europe, and the global Adventist family.

2. Literature Ministry & Publishing

We believe that written truth transforms lives.
That’s why we publish and distribute:

The foundational book “Umucyo w’Isabato”
Bible tracts, study guides, and devotionals
Online articles and printed Sabbath materials

One book can touch a family.
One tract can spark a revival.

3. Community Outreach & Evangelistic Campaigns

We follow Jesus’ method — going where the people are.
Our outreach focuses on both spiritual revival and practical compassion.

We conduct:

Public evangelistic campaigns
Village missions and Bible distributions
Health, family, and lifestyle education
Spiritual counseling and youth mentoring

In many rural areas of Burundi, where the Sabbath truth remains hidden, we are shining the light of truth — one soul at a time.

4. Youth Engagement & Bible Game Development

Young people are not only the future — they are God’s workforce now.
We are developing:

Bible-themed games and mobile tools to make learning engaging
Youth evangelism training programs
Creative platforms to help youth share their faith
Our goal is to make spiritual truth accessible, interactive, and unforgettable for the next generation.
